Tega Naomi Ayerume is an early-career clinical research professional and MSc Clinical Trials graduate from University College London (UCL), where she earned a Distinction. She currently works within NHS oncology trial operations, focusing on site-level study delivery and feasibility. She has supported oncology clinical trials across two major London NHS hospital sites and has also worked with a sponsor organisation, giving her a well-rounded perspective of trial delivery from both site and sponsor viewpoints.  This summer, Tega will begin a PhD in Clinical Trial Methodology at Queen Mary University of London. Her research will explore pilot and feasibility studies for online clinical trials, with the goal of developing methodological guidance for trialists. Tega brings both academic insight and site-level operational experience to her work, with a particular interest in patient engagement, innovation in trial design, and inclusive research practices.

Jeff Huntsman is the Chief Commercial Officer for PCM Trials and EmVenio Research, overseeing commercial strategy and revenue growth. Mr. Huntsman joined PCM Trials in 2024 with more than 30 years of experience in the Life Sciences space, where he has led global commercial teams selling pharma services solutions across the clinical development and regulatory lifecycle.

Prior to joining PCM Trials, Mr. Huntsman ran a consulting firm providing strategic advice to private equity, venture capital and emerging growth companies. Earlier in his career, he was the Chief Commercial Officer at Sitero, Citeline, ConnectiveRx, and LIQUENT. He has held executive leadership roles at Clarivate, Parexel, Thomson Reuters, and Rogers Communications as well as having served as a Health Care Advisor at Warburg Pincus and Growth Capital Partners.

Alex brings over 17 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in clinical technology at tech vendors, CROs, and pharmaceutical companies. His experience spans clinical and operational data, with deep experience in IRT, EDC, eCOA, eTMF, CTMS, SSU and a range of data and analytics platforms. At Jazz, he is responsible for overseeing the Clinical Data Factory and integration strategy as well as other AI and technology initiatives for the Global Clinical Development Operations team. He is focused on pulling in large amounts of data from different sources into an accurate and easily digestible format, collaborating with the Data Management, Clinical Operations, and RBQM teams at Jazz to align with business priorities. Alex is passionate about streamlining data movement and leveraging technology to simplify and accelerate processes across the clinical trial ecosystem.

Puneet Tyagi, PhD, is an Associate Director in the Dosage Form Design and Development group at AstraZeneca, based in Maryland, USA. His work focuses on the design and development of biologic formulations, with emphasis on long-acting injectables, transdermal systems, and oral delivery. His recent work involves advancing mRNA CMC strategies to enable rapid response to emerging infectious diseases and other high-impact indications. He plays a key role in advancing innovative drug delivery technologies and enabling translation from early discovery to clinical development.

Puneet earned his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Colorado, after completing his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in India. He is a co-inventor on several U.S. and international patents and has published extensively in the areas of drug delivery and formulation science. With over 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D, Puneet contributes strategically to AstraZeneca’s pipeline by driving innovation in formulation platforms and patient-centric delivery approaches.

Valerie Reynaert is the Head of Global Clinical Operations at Immunocore, a position she has held since April 2023. With over 20 years of experience in clinical development and operations, Valerie has established herself as a leader in the field of Vaccines and Pharmaceuticals development across Europe and the US. Her extensive career includes various leadership roles where she has driven significant advancements in clinical research and development. Valerie holds a Master's degree in Medical and Social Sciences from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. Her academic background, combined with her professional expertise, has equipped her with a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges in clinical operations. Residing in the Philadelphia area, Valerie continues to contribute to the field with her innovative approach and dedication to improving global health outcomes. At Immunocore, she is committed to radically improving outcomes for patients with cancer, infectious diseases, and autoimmune diseases by pioneering and delivering transformative immunomodulating medicines.

Joe Lengfellner brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare IT and clinical research, with a career focused on driving innovation at the intersection of technology and clinical trial operations. A recognized pioneer in EHR-to-EDC integration, Joe has authored multiple publications and case studies highlighting real-world implementations that improve data quality, streamline workflows, and reduce site burden. As the leader of a large clinical research technology team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, Joe has advocated for forward-thinking strategies such as decentralized clinical trials, FHIR-based interoperability, and eSource adoption, initiatives that have significantly improved the experience for patients, clinicians, and research staff alike. Joe also co-founded and leads the Clinical Research Innovation Consortium (CRIC), a collaborative network of leading academic research sites, sponsors, and technology partners focused on accelerating the evaluation, validation, and scaling of digital solutions in clinical trials. Under his leadership, CRIC has become a trusted model for de-risking emerging technologies and aligning the ecosystem around standards and outcomes-focused innovation. His expertise spans digitized trial design, clinical operations, advanced analytics, and the deployment of eClinical tools that support more efficient and higher quality clinical trials.

Jimi is an advocate redefining what’s possible for people living with Sickle Cell Disease. Born with SCD, he has spent his life pushing past limitations, most notably becoming the first person with SCD to summit Mount Kilimanjaro. Beyond his personal achievements, he is deeply committed to advancing care and awareness for the Sickle Cell community. Through his advocacy, he amplifies the voices of warriors worldwide, driving conversations that lead to real change.

Andrew Vigario is a Senior Clinical Country & Site Lead (CCSL) within the Quantitative Sciences & Development Operations organization at Biogen. In his current role, Andrew leads a team of CCSLs in the US primarily responsible for driving engagement and enhancing the clinical investigative site experience in their partnerships with Biogen. Additionally, Andrew is also primarily responsible for leading both country and site identification strategies for Biogen's Alzheimer's disease portfolio of trials. During his time at Biogen, he has actively led numerous workstreams and initiatives to streamline clinical trial operations and oversight processes, particularly when it comes to executing timely and efficient country and site identification, aiding in the discovery of IT solutions, and driving efficiency. Andrew has worked in the clinical research arena for 17 years. Prior to his role at Biogen, Andrew has held multiple positions at both IQVIA and Syneos Health, including that of Clinical Lead and Clinical Research Associate. Andrew has also had prior experience working as a Study Coordinator at an academic site. Andrew holds a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University and an MA in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College - Columbia University.
