Mette Andersen, General Manager, Data, Analytics & Insights Solutions, brings experience from previous roles at Merative and IBM and holds a Harvard Business School. She has a robust skill set that includes Research, Social Entrepreneurship, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Physics and more.

Melissa Hutchens is Vice President, Research & Benchmarking at WCG. She joined the company in 2001 and has more than 20 years of experience in R&D benchmarking and analytics for the biopharmaceutical industry. She has built extensive benchmarking frameworks that span Research, Development, and operational levels within.

Melissa has led the design of 13 web-based client-facing tools that provide the gold standard in R&D portfolio strategy, clinical trial planning and performance assessment, as well as site selection using advanced analytic models. She works closely with sponsor and CRO leadership to meet Industry challenges and create solutions utilizing proprietary data and frameworks. Her expertise consistently helps clients improve study forecasts, manage costs, and set strategic performance goals.

Melissa has a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University.

AAndrea Cercek, MD is a physician scientist and medical oncologist, with a research focus on novel biomarker driven, therapeutic approaches and treatments for colorectal cancer and other GI malignancies. She is an Associate Attending Physician in Gastrointestinal Oncology. She is the Section Head of Colorectal  Cancer and is the Founding Co-Director of the Center for Young Onset Colorectal and Gastrointestinal Center at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is an innovative researcher who designs and  executes multidisciplinary clinical trials and research initiatives with the goals of advancement of  science and improvement in patient outcomes and quality of life. She has NIH funded support for clinical trials and research investigating the mechanisms of response in neoadjuvant therapy and early stage disease. Dr. Cercek was one of the early investigators who noted a rise in early onset colorectal cancers and founded the first research and patient directed center in the world dedicated to  identifying the underpinnings of this rise and improvement in patient care. She plays an active role and  serves as an organizing member of several national and international committees including ASCO,  ESMO and AACR. Dr. Cercek’s research initiatives, particularly young onset colorectal cancer have inspired centers world-wide and spurred national and international collaborations.

Dr. Reczek is the CEO and Co-founder of Sempresto, a cutting edge medical device company developing a cell phone integrated drug delivery platform for rescue medications like epinephrine for anaphylaxis. She is a seasoned biotech executive a broad technical background and deep expertise in translating cutting-edge technologies into commercially viable products to improve patient outcomes. She previously served as the CEO of Neutron Therapeutics, SeqLL and Excelimmune, raising over $20M in early stage, private capital, and was an Entrepreneur in Residence from 2018-2019 with Partners Innovation. She was a partner in Ravello Precision Partners, advising the fund on investments in small to mid-cap, public biotech companies. She has served as a management consultant and advisor to a wide range of early-stage biotech companies, assisting them in navigating the transition from early technology innovation to product development. Dr. Reczek earned a BA in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University followed by a PhD in Cancer Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Ronald Pettis is the Principal of RJPettis Ventures Consulting, and a former Senior Director of Translational and Clinical Sciences at BD (Becton Dickinson) in Research Triangle Park, NC and a Governing Board Member of the Subcutaneous Consortium. He has over 30 years of successful development experience in parenteral drug delivery systems and pharmaceutical formulations, pre-clinical combination product evaluation, first-in-man clinical trials, and biological, protein and analytical chemistry. He has designed and implemented over 40 translational human clinical trials, successfully transferred numerous technology concepts through product launch, holds 51 issued US patents, and has authored 31 journal articles and book chapters on drug delivery, clinical sciences, and preclinical translational studies. He received his BS in chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and MS and PhD in Chemistry from the University of NC at Chapel Hill.

Jim Eamma is Executive Director, Therapeutic Strategy Lead for Oncology and Hematology at Worldwide Clinical Trials. His experience in scientific and clinical research spans more than two decades and includes work in academic, clinical, and CRO settings. Although oncology is his primary area of focus, he has also worked on clinical trials in a number of therapeutic areas. His intimate knowledge of studies at the level of the investigative site gives him the logistical and practical perspective needed for effective leadership and oversight.

Jeremy Zhang, PhD is Senior Director, Data Science Solutions at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies, focusing on extracting insights from data, building predictive models, and enabling data-driven decision-making and the development and application of advanced analytical methods including AI. Jeremy has over 15 years of experience in life science research, development, manufacturing, quality, and product launch. Prior to joining Otsuka, he has held data science leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Gilead Sciences and Abbott Labs. Jeremy holds a Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Duke University and a PhD in bioengineering from Clemson University.

Ram Yalamanchili is the founder and CEO of Tilda Research, where he is focused on building data and operational infrastructure to better execute clinical trials. Previously, he was a founder and CTO at Lexent Bio, which was acquired by Roche, where his team built novel liquid biopsy technologies to help change the way we manage cancer. Prior to Lexent, he was the CEO/Founder of Push Computing, which pioneered predictive security and container technologies for mobile (acquired by MobileIron). Ram began his career as an engineer at VMware and helped architect ESXi hypervisor, which powers the majority of the private cloud infrastructure today. He studied Electrical Engineering and Management Science at Carnegie Mellon and Stanford universities, respectively.

Karen E. Knudsen, MBA, PhD is the Chief Executive Officer of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy (PICI). A globally recognized cancer scientist and executive leader, she brings deep expertise in healthcare innovation, strategic partnerships and organizational growth. At PICI, she is driving efforts to advance bold science, catalyze cross-institutional partnerships and accelerate breakthrough therapies, with the mission of turning all cancers into curable diseases.

Randall has served as Serina’s CDO since March 2024. He served as Serina’s President, CEO, and member of Serina’s board of directors from September 2010 to March 2024. Prior to Serina, Randall served in executive leadership roles including CDO at Nektar Therapeutics, CMO of Cardium Therapeutics, CMO at Renovis, and President / co-Founder of ThromboGenics (now Oxurion). Dr. Moreadith received his M.D. from Duke University and is trained clinically in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. Following his Fellowship in Cardiology at Duke University, he joined the laboratory of Professor Philip Leder where he was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellow in Genetics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Moreadith received his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University.

Nikki Mosley holds a degree in Business Management and drives the growth of clinical trials at Optima Dermatology by securing new studies and expanding patient participation. Drawing on her extensive background in marketing, she brings strategic insight to every stage of the recruitment process—from selecting technology vendors to managing recruitment teams to converting patients into trial participants. Her ability to blend operational leadership with patient-focused outreach has been instrumental in creating a scalable recruitment model across multiple sites, contributing to the continued success of clinical trials within the Optima Dermatology network.
