Ana Rusetski is a combination product development lead with deep expertise in medical devices for biologics. She currently leads the development of a combination product platform at Astria Therapeutics, where she is responsible for device development from early-stage design through verification, validation, and into commercial readiness. Her work spans core CMC strategy, design control, risk management, human factors, and regulatory support.
Prior to her current role, Ana held positions of increasing responsibility at Amgen, where she oversaw lifecycle management of electromechanical combination products. There, she led cross-functional projects to improve reliability, implement configuration changes, qualify new manufacturing lines, and support global regulatory submissions.
Ana holds a MSc in Nanotechnology for Medicine and Healthcare from the University of Oxford. In 2024, she also served as co-lead of Astria’s Inclusion & Belonging committee, driving employee engagement and advancing equity in the workplace. During her time at Amgen, she co-founded WISE Wednesday’s, a speaker series highlighting women in STEM to enhance inclusive leadership.
With her global training and end-to-end development experience, Ana brings a system-level view to combination product innovation and clinical-to-commercial scale-up.
