Carrie Lewis has over 20 years of varied Clinical Research experience. Ms Lewis is currently an Executive Director, Clinical Program Optimization at Endo where she oversees Clinical Operations, Business Operations, eTMF/Inspectional Readiness, Training/Oversight, Medical Affairs Operations, Clinical Supplies, and Data Management. Prior to Endo, Ms Lewis garnered extensive knowledge in many roles while in academia, at large sponsors, generic sponsor, as well as a global CRO. She has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Research Administration and has experience in multiple therapeutic areas.

Parthi is an Innovation Lead with the vaccines business unit of Sanofi. In this role, he engages with early-stage innovators and entrepreneurs via a sponsored research framework to help groom emerging ideas into matured licensable products. Parthi also contributes to the broader Boston Innovation Ecosystem as a judge, mentor, and/or a grant reviewer for organizations such as Mass Innovation Network, Mass Life Sciences Center, and Mass Ventures. In his previous industry roles, Parthi has helped first-hand in the generation of more than $10M in revenue across 5 different product lines while working with the sales and business development teams of 2 different life sciences tools companies (Bio-techne and Quanterix) as a technical expert. Before moving to the industry, he was a research assistant professor at the University of Central Florida working on developing alternatives to antibiotics. He has published over 30 scientific articles including 3 patents. The recombinant vaccine platform developed as part of his PhD dissertation work won the AVMA award for the perceived impact in containing microbial resistance. Parthi holds a PhD in infectious diseases and immunology from Virginia Tech and a BVSc (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) from Madras Veterinary College.

Mateja Kramer received her bachelor’s degree in microbiology in 2002, followed by a master’s degree in 2005 and a doctoral degree in 2010 from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Pharmacy, Slovenia, in the field of rapid microbiological technologies. She moved in 2002 to the Microbiology Analytical Science & Technology (AS&T) at Novartis, Slovenia, as a research fellow, and in 2010 became Head AS&T, responsible for managing microbiological quality systems, testing and release of the bulk and finished dosage forms. In 2015, she joined Novartis solid dosage forms Packaging site in Lendava, Slovenia, where she was responsible for a batch certification and release. In 2018, she joined Technical Research Development Biologics and Cell & Gene Therapies where she was responsible for managing innovation projects. Currently, she is a Global Head of Innovation in Technical Research Development responsible for leading the global enterprise innovation system across the drug development process for both biologics and chemical molecules. She has authored and co-authored 16 publications and mentored over 10 graduate students and research fellows. For 13 years she was an Expert in Water for pharmaceutical purposes nominated by European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM), Council of Europe. She received the Best of the Best business practice award 2022 granted by the American Chamber of Commerce. Under her leadership, Innovation Council received the 2024 Innovation Impact Award for the best sustainable innovation program.
