As Vice President of Innovative Health & Advocacy, Staci is charged with creating a new organizational pillar that delivers an integrated, differentiated and superior patient, site, health authority and industry-leading experience for J&J’s clinical trials. She is accountable for a global team that actively seeks to understand all elements of our external stakeholders, critical to the future success and integrate those understandings into a comprehensive innovative strategy for implementation in protocol design, operational execution, and speed to market. Recently, Staci provided overall leadership and direction for the organizations portfolio delivery operations for the following therapeutic areas (TAs): Neuroscience, Cardiovascular & Metabolism, Retinal, Infectious Diseases, and Vaccines. Additionally, she serves as the senior global functional leader for all TAs, including Immunology and Oncology for site feasibility, patient recruitment/retention and diversity in clinical trials.
She came to Johnson & Johnson from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals where Staci led a diverse set of operational groups including clinical drug supply, start-up and compliance. Having held various supply chain related positions with increasing responsibility levels, while at Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD), a global contract service provider that provides services to the bio-pharmaceutical and device sectors, Staci had global P&L responsibility of the localized supply chain operations encompassing 12 countries. She also led the build-out and opening of distribution centers in Ireland, South Africa, and Brazil. Staci started her career as a protocol specialist at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), which is part of the National Institute of Health in Washington, DC.
Graduating from George Mason University in Virginia, Staci was a six-time NCAA Division I Track & Field All American. She received an Executive MBA from Fordham University.
Active in several professional and community-based organizations, Staci is a founding member of Chief, private network for professional women, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NCBW100), and National Black MBA Association. Additionally, she is a member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Institute where she is an Executive Circle of Advisors participant, the Drug Information Association and Black Women on Boards.
Staci’s family includes her husband Joe and her three sons Jacob, Jordan, and Justin.
