About this webinar:

In this broadcast from the Patients as Partners in Clinical Trials conference, Regeneron presents insights from operationalizing strategies for successfully embedding diversity, equity and inclusion into their clinical trial approach, using a data-based approach.

Regeneron’s Kristin Parkhurst walks the audience through a case study focused on patients of color participating in an atopic dermatitis clinical trial and how they operationalized a goal of enrolling a diverse representation of patients, including site selection informed by real-world data, working with research-naive sites and tailoring communications and materials informed by patient feedback.

Attendees will walk away learning how:
  • How DEI principles are operationalized in study feasibility, site selection, and patient engagement strategies, with a special focus on community engagement
  • Effective integration of the patient perspective in the operational aspects of designing, managing, and executing clinical trials
  • Case examples that illustrate practical applications of these operationalized DEI strategies

This was originally recorded at the 2024 Patients as Partners in Clinical Research meeting
