Keri Mattox is Chief Business Officer for Parexel. In this role, she leads the company’s business operations and growth strategy. Ms. Mattox brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience across corporate strategy and development, investor relations, communications and environmental, social and governance (ESG) programs. Prior to joining Parexel, Ms Mattox served as Chief Communications and Administration Officer at Zimmer Biomet, a global leader in medical technology. Her experience also includes serving as Global Lead of Integrated Corporate Communications at W2O Group (now Real Chemistry) and Vice President, Corporate & Investor Relations at Fortune 20 company AmerisourceBergen (now Cencora). Ms Mattox also held executive leadership positions at Endo International and Auxilium Pharmaceuticals. Earlier in her career, she held roles as Executive Vice President at Pure Communications, Director of Economic Development at the University of Pennsylvania and Business Writer for Hearst Newspapers.

Ms Mattox holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston University and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Maryland.

Sho Ueno is a R&D scientist of NOF CORPORATION. He has been developing LNP formulations and dosage form design. He has made contributions to the development of mRNA-LNP platform using proprietary ionizable lipids.

Oliver serves as the Senior Business Unit Director at Jabil for their Pharmaceutical Solutions division. He works closely with our largest pharmaceutical customers to provide strategic manufacturing solutions at Jabil sites around the world. Oliver brings experience from previous roles at Nypro (now Jabil) and Catalent Pharma Solutions.

He holds a Ph.D. in biomaterials engineering and master’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Exeter. With a robust skill set that includes pharmaceuticals, forecasting, new business development, product development, biotechnology and more. Oliver is based in Malmesbury, England where he lives with his family

Tina Nghiem is a Site Engagement Lead at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, where she plays a pivotal role in managing the Partners in Care Network. Since joining AstraZeneca in 2023, Tina has collaborated closely with sites to alleviate site burden and enhance site engagement across AstraZeneca clinical trials.

Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Tina spent more than 10 years in oncology clinical research. Most recently, she worked at an early phase research site, where she experienced firsthand the importance of site-sponsor partnerships in driving clinical trials.

Karla Sanchez leads a team of subject matter experts at CDP, supporting the Healthcare sector across a broad range of bioengineering specialties. With over thirteen years of experience in medical device development, she brings technical depth and strategic insight to complex health innovation projects. For the past six years, Karla has focused on drug delivery, with particular expertise in targeting the central nervous system (CNS). She leads efforts in drug delivery to the brain, working at the intersection of biology, engineering, and clinical need to overcome barriers to effective CNS therapies. She holds a PhD focused on the distribution of blood and cerebrospinal fluid in the brain and spinal cord, and has collaborated with clinicians and academics to develop physiological models of the brain, kidneys and lungs.

Karla is also an honorary researcher at Imperial College London, maintaining active links with academia and providing guidance to postgraduate students.

Fran has over 5 years of experience in drug delivery device design from concept generation to design verification testing and manufacturing scale-up, with a focus on injection devices. She has led multiple drug delivery projects, from design of novel electromechanical injectors through to due diligence of On-Body Delivery systems. Fran forms part of Cambridge Design Partnership’s core sustainability group, where she is responsible for identifying opportunities for sustainable innovation within the drug delivery sector. She has a master's degree in Mechanical and Bio-Engineering from the University of Cambridge.

Amanda joined the Takeda Patient Recruitment & Retention team in August 2019. 

Prior to her tenure with Takeda, she worked for several patient recruitment and retention agencies where she partnered with sponsors, CROs, and sites to design and implement multi-channel PR&R campaigns to meet the specialized needs of individual protocols.

Amanda has experience across a broad range of therapeutic areas with a forward-looking approach to maintain a strong pulse on the industry’s latest advancements in delivering patient-centric research.

She earned a BA and MA from Villanova University.

Maureen Quinn is a Sr. Manager on the Patient Engagement team at Moderna, where she has supported clinical trials across a diverse portfolio, including rare diseases, latent viruses, combination vaccines, and oncology, since 2021. In her role, Maureen collaborates closely with clinical trial teams, patient experience specialists, and external partners to design and execute thoughtful, patient-centric strategies that drive recruitment and retention success. Prior to joining Moderna, Maureen led participant recruitment initiatives at Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Maureen holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a BA from Colby College.

Dr. Suri is a Data Scientist with 7+ years of experience in research and development. Her work at Gilead on building foundational and industry-leading AI capabilities for clinical trial design and execution includes co-developing advanced algorithms for country and site selection, and enrollment forecasting, which are critical to optimizing clinical study feasibility. She holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and is passionate about wearable technology and digital health. Dr. Suri has presented her work at prestigious venues such as the Global Hepatitis Summit, Gerontological Society of America Annual Meeting, and has been invited to speak at leading conferences including BioTechX, HITLAB, and ISPE. With a research background spanning gait and mobility, robotic sciences, and neuroimaging, she has built and applied machine learning pipelines to study disease-risk patterns. She is the author of 12+ peer-reviewed journal articles, which have collectively garnered over 1,000 citations, reflecting the significant impact and recognition of her work within the scientific community.

Łukasz Koroniak (Luke) is a Global Biomaterial Director Drug Delivery Solutions at dsm-firmenich, where he is focused on extending application of our portfolio including proprietary, biodegradable TheraPEA™ platform in the development of long-acting therapies. For the past 15 years at dsm-firmenich, Luke has been a part of innovation and business teams focused on development and commercialization of novel long-acting therapies. These efforts have led to commercial launches of partner products in cardiovascular, and more recently, a phase I/II development of novel product in ophthalmic space.

Luke holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from University of Florida and EMBA from Alto University. In his 20-year tenure, he has developed a broad experience in drug discovery, medicinal chemistry, drug delivery and has authored several scientific publications and patents.

Rigwed is a materials and biocompatibility consultant with over a decade of experience in medical devices and drug delivery systems. As the Extractables and Leachables Program Lead at PSN Labs, Rigwed leads the chemical characterization and material testing programs, interfacing with and supporting clients on material selection and development, screening evaluations and biocompatibility risk mitigation and root sourcing. His team consists of experts who review, characterize and risk assess materials in the resin stage and the final device stage. Rigwed’s passion lies in assessing patient risk, by studying front-end material decisions to gain a vantage point for back-end biocompatibility outcomes. Rigwed’s background embodies the development of innovative materials for surgical implants, catheters, and pharmaceutical therapies. Rigwed holds a Master of Science in Materials Science and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
