Alex Guth is a Managing Director and Partner in LEK Consulting’s Boston office and a member of the Life Sciences practice. He supports clients throughout the life sciences industry, including biopharma, manufacturing and academic partners. Alex advises clients across a range of strategic needs, including therapeutic area strategy, portfolio prioritization, due diligence, and opportunity forecasting and valuation. Prior to joining LEK, Alex had over 15 years of experience in biological research. He holds a bachelor’s degree with highest departmental honors in biology and a PhD in virology, both from Harvard University.

Robert has over 20 years of experience in the medical device, biotech and pharmaceutical industries. He oversaw development and launch of over 10 different products while at Boston Scientific and Medtronic. He worked as Global Project Manager for Genentech, focused on biologics for the treatment of HER2+ breast cancer, including Perjeta, Herceptin and Kadcyla, where he oversaw the APHINITY and KATHERINE clinical trials. Robert holds a graduate degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Costa Rica and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations at Portal Instruments.

Olga Kubassova, PhD is the founder and president of Image Analysis Group. With a strong foundation in mathematics, Dr Kubassova and IAG’s team are passionately committed to accelerating drug development and improving chances of clinical trials to succeed. Her expertise is reflected in a proven track record of driving operational excellence and fostering innovation across complex global clinical trials and business ecosystems. She is an internationally recognized scientist and speaker, focusing her efforts on helping biotech and pharma companies in leveraging the power of data, AI, and digital technologies to refine clinical trial design, execution, and data analysis. Her expertise and publications encompass many therapeutic areas, including oncology, immunology, gastroenterology, and neurosciences. Her current focus is on building impactful collaborations that will shape the future of clinical development and offer innovative solutions to longstanding challenges.

Sean Connolly is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Evinova, where he leads the strategic vision and development of its AI-native platform and products. With a career spanning multiple industries, Sean brings a unique blend of technical depth and strategic product leadership to Evinova.

Prior to Evinova, Sean led digital transformation initiatives at AstraZeneca across R&D and Commercial, delivering groundbreaking outcomes and several “industry firsts” with novel applications of digital and AI. During his tenure at Medable, he led enterprise product development to bridge biopharma needs with generic SaaS. Earlier in his career, Sean led the strategy and implementation of enterprise-wide research technology capabilities, including computational biology and high performance computing, for 20,000 multi-disciplinary researchers at George Washington University. During his time at IBM, Sean led global teams implementing complex data and analytics capabilities for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Sean is known for his ability to bridge technology and strategy with clarity and impact, driving innovation at scale across large enterprises. He is passionate about accelerating new medicines for patients with a clear focus on improving biopharma R&D cycle time in a way that is tightly integrated with transformative patient experiences.

Sean holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and Bachelor of Business Administration and Computer Science from George Washington University.

Petr Jordan is CTO and a founding team member at Onc.AI, where he leads core technology development, scientific collaborations, and intellectual property development. Dr. Jordan is an experienced R&D and AI executive with expertise in computer vision, medical imaging, machine learning, oncology, and medical physics. Before joining Onc.AI, he was a Sr. Staff Data Scientist at Varian Medical Systems where he led advanced development projects focusing on the use of machine learning in radiation therapy treatment planning, intra-fraction image guidance, and cone-beam CT reconstruction. Prior to that, he was an Imaging Research Manager at Accuray, leading the development of image-guidance and treatment planning algorithms for the CyberKnife and TomoTherapy systems. He holds a PhD in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology (HST), a MS in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University, and a BS in Computer Engineering from Lipscomb University. During his doctoral training he completed core medical school curriculum at Harvard Medical School. He is an inventor on 34 granted and 2 pending US patents.

Foluso Agboola, MBBS, MPH is the VP of Research at ICER. She is responsible for conducting rigorous analyses and critical appraisals of published medical evidence, managing the broader HTA process on reviews, as well as managing the work of members of the evidence synthesis team at ICER. Ms Agboola’s expertise is in the application of principles of evidence synthesis in healthcare and public health decision-making. Prior to joining ICER in 2016, Ms Agboola worked at Mass General Brigham Center for Drug Policy, where she developed economic evaluations to accompany rigorous reviews of clinical evidence, assessed the potential cost and budgetary impact of a wide range of clinical interventions, performed clinical forecasting, and developed pharmacoeconomic models. Prior to that, she worked at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health on designing evaluation research and the application of measurement methods to assess public health and healthcare system preparedness. Dr Agboola has authored several peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and educational materials.

Dr Agboola earned her medical degree from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, and her Master of Public Health degree in Quantitative Methods from Harvard University. In her spare time, Dr Agboola enjoys going on a bike ride or hiking with her family.

June Cha is a policy director at FasterCures, Milken Institute Health. She brings decades of experience in infectious diseases research, non-profit, multilateral, and bilateral organizations, government, and the pharmaceutical industry, where she has focused on US and global health policy and program strategies across the healthcare ecosystem. Cha has in-depth knowledge and experience in medical product research and development, pharmaceutical regulatory laws, regulations, and policy, and has led efforts to promote sustainable and equitable healthcare.

Most recently, Cha worked with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the African Union Development Agency to provide program and policy strategies for creating a continental safety monitoring platform in Africa. She also worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a regulatory policy professional, collaborating with stakeholders from patient organizations, non-profits, trade associations, and the government to advance scientifically sound and innovative regulatory science.

Before joining the industry, Cha served as a public health advisor at the US Department of Health and Human Services, leading the strategic planning and review process to ensure the advancement of women’s health issues. She began her policy career at global health organizations advocating efficient HIV prevention policy for mothers and children in Sub-Saharan Africa. Cha received a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame and an MPH in Global Public Health Leadership from New York University.

Catherine Coulouvrat, MD, is leading a Health Value Translation Unit, within Patient Informed Development and Health Value Translation at Sanofi, R&D. Dr Coulouvrat is physician, specialized in psychiatry and sleep medicine, with 20 years of extensive experience in clinical development, clinical operations, medical affairs, market access and translational research. Dr Coulouvrat has a successful track record in patient relevant outcomes, clinical development strategy for product launch. Passionate about patients' empowerment, education, understanding unmet needs and disease burden for better integration into the clinical development strategies, she thrives to build health outcomes and innovative care models aiming at improved patient quality of life and access to care.

Savine DaCosta is the Clinical Trial Diversity Site Lead at Biogen. In this role she is accountable for driving the strategies and capabilities to ensure diverse representation within clinical research that reflect the epidemiology of our diseases. She is also committed to building trust in underrepresented and underserved communities by identifying, creating, implementing, and measuring community engagements that educate patients on disease and clinical trials. In addition, She is charged with developing and implementing clinical trial site related diversity initiatives to build sustained engagement and trust with communities, patients, and surrounding sites.

DaCosta's career spans more than 25 years in the Pharma/Biotech industry with highlighted areas in sales, marketing, patient engagement and currently DE&I. She is a natural convener, communicator, and solutions provider. She graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In addition, she obtained a master’s in business administration from Eastern University in St. David’s, Pennsylvania.

She now resides in Pennsylvania with her husband, Tony and one son, and enjoys photography, basketball, and an enjoyable book. As a forever caregiver to a son who has Cerebral Palsy, DaCosta understands first-hand the various challenges that patients with chronic conditions experience and the emotional, social, and physical isolation and frustrations of caregivers. She is driven to educate and empower patients and caregivers to advocate for better health and consider clinical research as a part of their treatment options.
