Meghan Blair, MS, CIP, is the Associate Director for Regulatory Affairs in the [Medical Oncology/CAR-T] Clinical Research Unit of the Abramson Cancer Center. In her role, Ms Blair is responsible to lead a team of Regulatory Affairs Professionals in providing clinical trial support associated with ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations governing review and reporting for human subject research. Her leadership attributes include ensuring clear expectations for professional and service-oriented performance, providing the necessary training and tools to ensure success both individually and as a team, and following performance using quantitative metrics. She values accountability, responsibility and transparent communication as fundamental factors that determine the success of her team. Ms Blair serves as a key opinion leader and subject matter expert as related to interpretation and application of regulation to the day-to-day clinical trial operations. Her passion for streamlining process to reduce regulatory burden and improve efficiency in the maintenance of required essential regulatory documentation is paramount. Ms Blair has defined best practice for the creation and maintenance of electronic regulatory investigator site files for the ACC leveraging the new technology, SiteVault. Outside of work, Ms Blair enjoys gardening, reading and watching the birds from her deck.

Paul Upham is the Global Head of Smart Devices at Roche / Genentech. Paul has 20+ years of experience in medical device R&D, strategic marketing, product management, clinical research, and medical informatics. Prior to Roche / Genentech, Paul was with Becton Dickinson(BD), as Worldwide Director of Strategic Marketing in their Pharmaceutical Systems business.

 Mr Upham was also the head of Product at WellDoc, Inc., where he led the product management activities for WellDoc’s portfolio of mobile health solutions. He was responsible for WellDoc’s landmark BlueStar™ product, a class II medical device and the world’s first reimbursed, prescription-only software for diabetes.

 Mr Upham’s prior experience includes 10 years in BD’s Diabetes Care business. Mr Upham was responsible for the award-winning BD InterActiv® Diabetes Software, and was a member of the BD / Medtronic team that launched ParadigmLink®, the world’s first wireless blood glucose meter.

 Mr Upham holds four issued patents in medical software and drug delivery devices and has multiple patent applications. He is also an author of numerous peer-reviewed articles in medical informatics and diabetes. His education includes undergraduate studies in cognitive science and graduate work in health informatics and finance at the University of Minnesota and New York University.

Mr Randall Stanicky currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Click Therapeutics, a company focused on bringing digital therapeutics to the market targeting traditional drug endpoints. Prior to joining Click Therapeutics he spent more than 20-years on Wall Street as a top ranked equity analyst where he was a regular speaker at conferences and events both domestically and internationally. Most recently he served as Managing Director, Global Equity Research at RBC Capital Markets where he was ranked number 2 by Institutional Investor within the Specialty Pharmaceuticals sector. His coverage also included the large cap pharmaceutical sector and he led the cross-sector build-out of the firm's research efforts in Digital Health and regularly authored reports on the leading themes and debates within healthcare. Mr Stanicky spent the majority of his Wall Street career at Goldman Sachs in a similar capacity covering several sectors across the healthcare space. He is also a Board member and Head of the Audit Committee for the Children's Tumor Foundation and previously sat on the Board of Directors of TherapeuticsMD (NASDAQ: TXMD), a women’s health focused pharmaceutical company.

Liliana Miinea, Ph.D. is a Technology Manager with Lubrizol Life Science. Her work focuses on developing new technologies for pharmaceutical applications mainly in the area of controlled release, drug solubility enhancement and enhanced mucosal delivery.  She has over 20 years of experience in developing and characterizing ingredients including nanomaterials, polymer/nanomaterials composites, and novel excipients.  Prior to Lubrizol she worked at Avantor Inc., NJ and conducted postdoctoral research at Washington University in St. Louis, and Center for Nanomaterials Research at Dartmouth College, USA. Liliana holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Houston, TX. 

Selena Larkin, PhD, MBA, is a protein biochemist who has committed her career to the advancement of biomarker analysis for research, translation and clinical applications. She has experience bringing protein quantitation assays to market for liquid biopsy including a number of clinical assays for cancer detection and longitudinal patient monitoring. She is delighted to now have the opportunity to contribute quantitative rigor to the field of spatial analysis. Dr Larkin’s team supports RareCyte’s customers using CyteFinder and Orion for Precision Liquid Biopsy and Spatial Biology.

Marie Emms has over 25 years of experience in healthcare communications, spanning public relations, medical education and R&D patient engagement. Marie is currently Head of Patient Engagement & Recruitment at BMS responsible for growing, developing and supporting a team to accelerate recruitment and enrollment globally. Prior to her role at BMS, Marie was the Global Head of Investigator & Patient Engagement at Johnson & Johnson.

She specializes in the development and execution of strategic integrated communications programs to support sites and their patients through the clinical trial journey, from initial awareness and consent through to compliance and adherence. Marie has worked on a wide range of therapeutic areas across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric studies.

As a self-taught programmer and serial entrepreneur, Maria Picone brings more than 20 years of experience managing operational and strategic ventures in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. After their daughter was born with Prader-Willi Syndrome, Ms Picone and her husband committed to creating solutions for rare diseases and founded TREND Community. She uses her platform as Founder and CEO of TREND to advocate for and bring hope to people living with rare, chronic and emerging diseases.

Adeeb Rahman, PhD, is the VP of Platform Architecture at Immunai, a biotechnology company focused on mapping the immune system to help discover and develop the next generation of immunotherapies. Dr Rahman received his PhD in Immunology from the University of Pennsylvania and completed postdoctoral fellowships in cancer immunology and human liver disease, after which he has focused his career on developing and deploying advanced technology platforms to better understand human disease. As an Associate Professor and Director of Technology Development at the Human Immune Monitoring Center at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, he established one of the world’s leading comprehensive immune monitoring programs, with a core focus of increasing the utility of high dimensional single cell data for translational and clinical research. In his current role at Immunai he leads a highly multidisciplinary team applying industrial-scale data generation, curation and integration to build a multi-omic single cell data foundation from patient samples, and leveraging machine learning approaches to surface actionable insights to improve preclinical and clinical development decisions. 

Anders Haegerstrand, MD, PhD, is currently the CEO of Annexin Pharmaceuticals. He has extensive R&D experience including drug discovery and development as manager at Karolinska Institutet, Astra Pain Control AB and AstraZeneca LLC and within biotech. From 2000, Anders was CEO and CSO for NeuroNova AB, a leading company in applied stem cell research that brought protein molecules into Phase I/II clinical studies. The company was later acquired by a listed company, Newron Pharmaceuticals S.p.A., at which Dr Haegerstrand was a management team member between 2013 and 2016.

Xoli currently works as Executive Director, Drug Development Services at Parexel.  She has over 25 years in global clinical research experience in a range of roles including patient engagement, clinical operations, project leadership, learning and organizational development, change management, and corporate strategy.  Xoli established a multidisciplinary Patient Inclusion Working Group at Parexel in 2022. This group continues to ensure we work in ways that provide access for ALL patients.

Before joining Parexel,  Xoli worked in areas including CNS, oncology, and cardiology in pharmaceutical companies.  She worked as a family support worker at HIV charities in London in the late 90s and also has experience as a healthcare assistant in hospital and care homes.

Xoli holds an MSc in Neuroscience from Institute of Psychiatry, London and a BSc (Hon.) in Medical Biochemistry from Brunel University, London. She is a Doctoral Candidate in Organizational Change at Ashridge Executive Education (part of Hult) where she uses action research methodology to co-create change with others rather than for or to them.

Outside of work, Xoli enjoys cooking, hiking, a range of music and quality time with friends and family.  She also enjoys Nigerian movies, Avengers, and old musicals.  She cannot be trusted with pets or plants.

Before Teiko, Ramji was Cofounder, CEO and Chairman of Counsyl, a women’s health genetic screening laboratory. Counsyl screened over 1M prospective parents, mothers-to-be and women at risk of hereditary cancer. In 2018, Counsyl was acquired by Myriad Genetics, Inc for $375M in cash and stock.

Ramji earned a B.S. in computer science and an M.S. in financial mathematics, both from Stanford University. Ramji also attended Stanford’s Graduate School of Business before dropping out to start Counsyl.
