Cheryl Davis, founder of Red Thred Solutions, works with pharmaceutical companies and patient advocacy groups to build global strategies that connect the patient voice with clinical innovation. This involves collaborating across functions (notably clinical, medical, compliance, and patient advocacy) to bring real patient experience into decision-making. Through advisory boards, qualitative research, and the co-creation of materials and approaches, she ensures that those most impacted by a therapy play a meaningful role in shaping it.

Cheryl brings over 30 years of experience, including 15 years in patient advocacy roles within global biopharmaceutical companies. With a strong understanding of the end-to- end product development process, she helps teams navigate internal constraints while introducing more patient-centered ways of working. Her perspective is further grounded in direct engagement with patient communities, including co-founding a patient advocacy group and contributing to several cancer-focused nonprofits.

She combines a patient advocacy mindset with a structured, systems-based approach to help organizations embed patient engagement in ways that are scalable, practical, and impactful for patients, healthcare professionals, and development teams alike.

Daniel Pointing is Associate Director of Business Development at Weave, where he partners with biotech and pharma organizations to support the adoption of new technologies across drug development.

He brings experience across clinical research, applied science, and strategic partnerships. Prior to Weave, Daniel held several roles at Genialis, where he led global partnership initiatives, supported commercialization of machine learning-driven biomarker platforms, and contributed to fundraising and licensing efforts. Earlier in his career, he worked in clinical research and biosensor development, supporting early-phase trials and regulatory documentation.

Daniel’s work focuses on bridging science and business to help organizations translate emerging technologies into practical applications.

Cristian Perez Gomez is a seasoned Public Affairs, Patient Advocacy, and Communications executive with more than 15 years of experience leading high‑impact initiatives across LATAM, the US, and EMEA. He began his career in the public sector, building deep expertise in government relations and public policy, and later translated this foundation into the corporate environment.

Over the course of his career, Cristian has held senior roles at global industry leaders, including Novartis, Takeda, Abbott Laboratories, The Coca-Cola Company, and eBay Inc. In these positions, he has strengthened corporate reputation, fostered meaningful engagement with diverse stakeholders, and supported sustainable business growth through integrated, purpose‑driven strategies.

In his current role as Director of International Patient Affairs at Blueprint Medicines, a Sanofi company, Cristian leads the development and execution of patient‑focused initiatives in Europe and regions beyond the U.S. He integrates science, patient experience, and public policy to inform research, improve healthcare delivery, and expand access to innovation.

Joss Langford is Chief Technology Officer at ActivInsights, using wearables to help healthcare professionals collect and analyse lifestyle data in public health, sleep research and clinical trials. He was a founding director of Coelition, an independent non-profit organisation promoting the responsible use of personal data and open data standards. Joss has senior management experience in blue chip, SME and start-up businesses. His expertise is reinforced with a proven track-record developing new ventures, brands, products and digital services. He is co-author of Data to Life presenting a radical new roadmap for collecting and handling behavioural data. He is the author of the children’s book Emily’s Numbers and a contributing author to the innovation management book Growth Champions. Joss holds a BSc in Cybernetics & Control Engineering and is currently completing his PhD at University of Exeter. Joss is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce and a Member of the Institute of Engineering Technology.

Andrew has worked with growing biopharma companies for over 25 years, largely supporting the CMO organizations within.  He has worked with hundreds of companies and thousands of industry professionals over that span always approaching situations with long-term thinking in mind.  He has created simple yet effective systems for assessing client needs quickly and accurately.  He is 24/7 for those that need him and his company.

Prior to founding Conjugate Group, Andrew founded (2004) and led BioBridges before it was acquired.  He co-founded Conjugate Group (2017) and currently leads the firm with the mission to partner with growing drug development companies.  Conjugate has experienced rapid growth in the last few years in a “cash-anxious” market.

Dennis Velasquez is the Chief Commercial Officer at Biorce, where he helps pharmaceutical and biotech companies transform how clinical trials are designed and executed using AI. With a background in biochemistry, microbiology, and specialization in Pharmacology and a PhD in pharmacokinetics, Dennis brings over 17 years of experience bridging science, technology, and commercial strategy. At Biorce, he leads global partnerships and sales strategy for the first ever AI-powered assistant built to streamline protocol development, feasibility assessments, and operational planning. His work focuses on reducing protocol amendments, improving trial timelines, and helping sponsors make smarter decisions earlier in the R&D process. Known for his sharp scientific and strategic thinking, direct communication style, and deep passion for innovation, he is helping reimagine the future of clinical trials, supporting the pharmaceutical industry in delivering treatments to patients faster.
