“Ask the Patient” Program

Patients as Partners EU was pleased to bring back the “Ask the Patient” program, representing a group of individuals who’ve experienced a clinical trial. This unique opportunity is designed to help foster an understanding of the patient perspective, to further understand and improve how we currently design and conduct clinical trials.
Exhibits
Meet the innovators behind the patient empowerment movement during our networking breaks. From patient engagement specialists, digital companies, healthcare communications firms, CROs, new technologies, patient recruitment firms and more, the service providers you’ll meet onsite have a demonstrated commitment to innovating for patients.
Why Now?
In a world where only 10% of medicines make it to launch, incorporating a patient-centric study design has been proven beneficial for industry. In fact, an Economist Intelligence Unit study reported that medicines developed with patient preferences and input early on, showed a 10-20% increase in likelihood of launch compared to medicines without this approach. Conversely, not involving patients early in medicines development increases the risk of a failed trial.
Thank you for joining us at the 2020 Patients as Partners EU conference in London.
