Patients as Partners Co-Chairs named PharmaVoice’s Top 100 for Patient Engagement and Clinical Research

  • Congratulations to Patients as Partners co-chairs, Roz Schneider, MD, Global Patient Affairs Lead, Pfizer and Ken Getz, MBA, Chair of CISCRP for being recognized on the 2018 PharmaVoice 100, which celebrates individuals in the life-science industry who have been inspirational and have provided innovative approaches to addressing industry challenges.

    Roz Schneider was recognized in the patient advocate category for being “A Healing Force for Patients”.  Roz creates partnerships within and external to her organization to drive patient centricity and integration of the voice of the patient throughout the lifecycle of medicines.

    Ken Getz, MBA, was named PharmaVoice 100 for his “Deep Commitment to Creating Clinical Excellence.”  As the founder of CISCRP and associate professor at Tufts University, his work revolves around raising awareness, education and informing stakeholders to help improve their patient engagement capabilities.

    Both Roz Schneider and Ken Getz have been instrumental as advisors and co-chairs of the annual Patients as Partners conference from it’s inception in 2013, which brings together industry, advocacy and patients to demonstrate how to involve patients throughout the entire medicines development life cycle to drive greater efficiencies in clinical research. The 6th annual Patients as Partners program will be taking place March 11-12, 2019 in Philadelphia.
