The Myeloma Crowd is a division of the CrowdCare Foundation, a patient-driven, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that empowers patients with rare diseases at each step of their disease journey – from diagnosis, through education, care and on to a cure. The Myeloma Crowd provides simplified patient education on the website, through myeloma expert interviews on Myeloma Crowd Radio and in live patient meetings and seminars. We support research for high-risk patients through a patient-led crowdsourcing and crowdfunding process, the first of its kind. Two immunotherapy projects (CAR T and MILs) are currently being funded which represent the most promising progress towards a cure for myeloma.
