The Myeloma Crowd is a division of the CrowdCare Foundation, a patient-driven, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that empowers patients with rare diseases at each step of their disease journey – from diagnosis, through education, care and on to a cure. The Myeloma Crowd provides simplified patient education on the website, through myeloma expert interviews on Myeloma Crowd Radio and in live patient meetings and seminars. We support research for high-risk patients through a patient-led crowdsourcing and crowdfunding process, the first of its kind. Two immunotherapy projects (CAR T and MILs) are currently being funded which represent the most promising progress towards a cure for myeloma. Additionally, Our HealthTree product helps patients understand personally relevant treatment options while helping researchers answer critical questions using real-world patient data. Patient Empowerment Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering cancer patients through education and support. We help patients gain the confidence and knowledge to become advocates for themselves and for those in their cancer community.
